Caminando por Cómpeta entramos en el restaurante sin tener ninguna referencia. Al mediodía  , en pleno agosto, en la terraza a 29 grados , la corriente de aire y disposición de las mesas ya hicieron que nos quedáramos. La sorpresa fue el menú del día por su calidad precio. Productos  de cercanía con un mezcla de sabores que les da un toque diferente sin restar el sabor y  muy bien presentados. El personal muy amable y competente. Para terminar, los tanques de cerveza muy bien tirados 🍻😋y las jarras heladas, como nos gusta. Somos de Valencia y vamos a repetir esta semana antes de volver a casa. Dulce y Juan.

We ordered a water, a small beer (caña) and a Coca Cola Zero and received a 1 l bottle of water, a big glass of beer (tanque) and an original Coke. That should not happen. Had them changed. The food was quite regular: the carpaccio slices were too thick and chewy, the risotto was watery and overcooked. A disappointment! Addendum to owner's comment: Food was very mediocre irrespective of drinks issue. There is no remedy for a soggy, watery risotto nor chewy carpaccio, so why start a discussion there. La comida es muy normal, tanto en variedad como en ejecución, bastantes cosas congeladas, el cocinero no se esmera mucho, pedimos una pata de calamar que sacó literalmente achicharada, aunque Pablo nos la cambió. Están acostumbrados a los Guiris, que no se quejan por nada, piden botellas y dejan buenas propinas. La bebida es escasa en variedad, solo un tipo de cerveza sin alcohol tostada...y no está lo suficientemente fría. Lo mejor los camareros destacando a Pablo "Competeño", y a Monique que le pone ganas. We sit down in this garden setting—gorgeous, lush, like the Garden of Eden but without the talking snake trying to sell you an apple! And right out of the gate—Bam! Zap!—the beer arrives! Cold? It was like kissing a snowman! Tasty? It was doing a Broadway tap dance on my tastebuds! You sit down, you’re thirsty, and whoosh, they deliver! Now, we start the magical mystery tour with Tapas. The boquerones? Mwah! Outstanding! The gambas and the salmon tartar? Are you kidding me? They were singing a three-part harmony in my mouth! And the bread! Oh, sweet, beautiful mother of carbohydrates. They give you this perfect bread to soak up the gambas broth. Sponge it up! Slurp, dab, dunk! You do not leave that broth behind! Then, the main event! Ding ding ding! Heavyweight champion of the world: Tuna and Risotto! Let me tell ya, this risotto... I’ve eaten rice, I’ve eaten grains, but this risotto was like a warm, comforting hug from a little Italian grandmother! “Ehhh, mangia, Francesco, eat the risotto!” Unbelievable. One of the best I've ever had! And the tuna? Fresh? It was practically asking me for directions back to the ocean! Cooked to absolute, undeniable perfection. I gotta find out where these guys get their fish. Are they buying it from Aquaman? Brrrblblbl! Seriously, I need to interrogate their supplier! And to finish? Chocolate mousse! Ooo la la, magnifique! Finally! We have a chef in this town who bought a French dictionary! Mousse means FOAM, people! Not a brick, not a chocolate hockey puck, not drywall! FOAM! This thing was so light, so impossibly fluffy, I swear to you—whoooosh—if they had made it a fraction of a percent lighter, it would have floated right off the table! Come back here, dessert! I’m not done with you! But wait, hold the phone! Just when you think the curtain is coming down—surprise! They hit you with Limoncello on the house! Zing! Pucker up, buttercup! Sweet, zesty, little shots of yellow liquid sunshine to send you floating out the door! What an evening! Beautiful garden, magical food, pure joy. Five glowing, pulsating, magnificent stars! Eindelijk zijn jullie open ... en wat een heerlijke belevenis hebben wij gisteren ervaren. Geen idee wat we moesten kiezen, want alles zag er heerlijk uit. Dus... besloten we alle tapas van de kaart te bestellen , inclusief de heerlijke solomillo. Het was werkelijk een feestje om alles te proeven. Wat een mooie smaken werden er gecombineerd en prachtig geserveerd. Dikke complimenten en heel veel succes maar vooral plezier.
